Ferguson Roofing hired Think Tank to execute an exciting new plan: bring this third-generation company into the digital age.
The family-owned business opened in 1939 and, while staying committed to the values of honesty, fairness, and community involvement, expanded the scope of its work. Today, they offer a complete range of residential and commercial roofing, siding, gutter, and fascia services throughout the greater St. Louis region.
In 2017, the company was ready to take their family business to the next level by having a strong online presence while maintaining a foothold in traditional marketing.


To do so, we started by completely redesigning their website and further gave them a digital transformation with the use of social media, email marketing, SEO, blogs, and more.
By honoring their roots and keeping an eye on what lies ahead, we launched innovative campaigns that captured the essence of the brand through social media, email marketing, and digital and traditional advertising. A focus was placed on how a firm handshake and being true to one’s word are a part of their excellent customer service.


We pitched to them a “80 in 80” campaign, where the company did 80 acts of kindness for the local community to celebrate their 80th year of business. We did a press push for the heartfelt giveback program, landing them in news media outlets.


All of these efforts set Ferguson Roofing up as a powerhouse in the roofing market.
Through our collaboration, we significantly increased the value of their business. Our efforts ultimately contributed to Ferguson Roofing’s acquisition by the reputable Hoffmann Brothers family of brands in 2023.
